These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of our website, booking platform, tours, activities, and all related services provided by [Japan Tours International by Unemoto LLC] (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our services.
・”Customer,” “you,” “your” – the individual or entity using our services.
・”Services” – all tours, activities, bookings, transfers,travel products, and digital resources offered.
・”Booking” – a confirmed reservation made through our website or authorized channels.
・”Travel Voucher” – a credit issued by us for future use under specific conditions.
・You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
・You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when submitting a booking.
・Unauthorized use of our website, including attempts to disrupt operations or access restricted systems, is prohibited.
・A booking is confirmed only after full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.
・Prices are shown in Japanese YEN (JPY) unless otherwise indicated.
・We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time before a booking is confirmed.
・Payments are non-transferable unless specifically permitted.
・All re-booking requests must follow the conditions outlined below:
・Requests must be submitted via email or message, and must include the booking reference number or travel voucher number.
・Re-booking more than 10 days before the event is free of charge.
・Re-booking 10 days or less before the event may incur a fee equal to the applicable cancellation penalty.
・Only one re-booking is allowed per reservation unless otherwise approved.
Cancellation fees are based on the remaining time before the scheduled event. All cancellation requests must be submitted via email or message, including the booking reference number or travel voucher number.
Cancellation Fees
・10 days or less before event: 30% non-refundable
・7 days or less before event: 50% non-refundable
・5 days or less before event: 100% non-refundable
・When multiple rules apply, the highest applicable penalty will be charged.
Refunds (when applicable) are processed within 7 business days.
・Instant confirmation is sent within minutes of online booking.
・Digital tickets and instructions are delivered within 24–48 hours of booking approval.
・Last-minute bookings may receive documents within 1–4 hours, depending on availability.
・Guests are responsible for providing accurate contact information including country code.
・We are not liable for emails lost due to incorrect addresses or spam filters.
・Travel vouchers may be issued at our discretion as an alternative to monetary refunds.
・Vouchers are valid only until the date of your scheduled tour and must be used before or on your tour date.
・After the tour date has passed, vouchers expire automatically and cannot be redeemed, extended, refunded, or transferred.
・Vouchers are non-transferable and may only be used by the customer whose name appears on the original booking or voucher.
・Voucher redemption is subject to tour availability at the time of re-booking.
By participating in any tour or activity, you agree to:
・Follow instructions given by guides or staff.
・Arrive at the designated meeting point on time.
・Disclose any relevant medical conditions or mobility limitations prior to booking.
・Comply with local laws, safety rules, and environmental guidelines.
・Day Tours: Standard day tours consist of 10 hours from pick up to drop off. Any extension beyond 10 hours will incur an additional charge of 10,000 JPY per extra hour.
・Airport Transfers: Airport transfers include a maximum waiting time of 90 minutes. Customers will be charged for any waiting time exceeding 90 minutes, at a rate determined by the company.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer violating safety rules, behaving inappropriately, or failing to comply with the above conditions.
We may cancel, modify, or postpone a tour due to operational requirements, safety concerns, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.
If we cancel a tour:
・You may receive a full refund or
・An offered re-booking
We are not liable for additional costs such as accommodation, transportation, or other incidental expenses.
・Participation in tours is at your own risk.
・We are not responsible for loss, injury, damage, or delays arising from weather, accidents, natural events, or third-party actions.
・You are responsible for safeguarding your personal belongings during tours.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
All content on our website—text, images, branding, videos, and materials—is the property of UNEMOTO LLC and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without permission.
We collect and handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website. By using our services, you consent to the processing of your information as described there.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any disputes will be resolved through negotiation and, if necessary, arbitration or courts located in Kobe, Japan.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
